Glass is a block that is a transparent-like block. It has multiple functions as a block, because of the transparent property of the block.

You can drop an item and build a glass above the block where the item is dropped, the dropped item should float in the middle of the glass .Items dropped in the glass do not disappear inside glass blocks and glass is popularly used for displaying items in player-made stores.

Items cannot be dropped in coloured glass.
